  中新网北京5月17日电 (记者 孙自法) 中国科协5月17日向媒体发布信息说,滨州刘徽数学研究会成立大会暨弘扬科学家精神报告会16日在山东举行。中国科协党组成员、书记处书记王进展致辞指出,滨州发挥刘徽故里的独特优势,成立滨州刘徽数学研究会,对展示传承以刘徽为代表的古代科学先贤的思想和成就、推动科学文化交流具有重要意义。

  王进展表示,2023年11月,第42届联合国教科文组织大会审议通过了中国科协推荐的刘徽诞辰周年系列纪念活动,这是中国首次在联合国教科文组织成功申办以科学家诞辰为主题的周年纪念活动,是推进科学文化国际交流的一件大事。

  王进展强调,要进一步拓宽对外科技交流合作的广度和深度,成为传播科技文化的优秀使者和国际科技治理的积极参与者。增进对国际科技界的开放、信任、合作,解码中国科学文化的优秀“基因”,向世界讲好中国创新故事,主动融入全球创新网络,链接全球优质创新资源,深度参与国际科技治理,为解决全球发展中的重大现实问题、应对人类面临的共同挑战提供中国方案、贡献中国智慧,让中国科技文化在推动构建人类命运共同体中发挥更大作用。
